- What is Hirewaar?
- Hirewaar is an online hiring platform that connects businesses with job seekers. Businesses can advertise vacancies, screen applicants, review applications and communicate with candidates from one platform.
- How much does it cost to post a job?
- Your first vacancy is R50 for new businesses, then R79 per vacancy. We also offer credit packages and subscription plans for businesses that recruit regularly.
- Do candidates pay to apply?
- No. Job seekers can create a profile and apply for opportunities on Hirewaar without paying a fee to apply.
- Do you charge a recruitment commission?
- No. Hirewaar does not charge a percentage of a candidate's salary when you hire them.
- Is Hirewaar a recruitment agency?
- No. Hirewaar is a hiring technology platform. We provide businesses with the tools to advertise vacancies, manage applications and communicate with candidates. The employer remains responsible for its own recruitment decisions.
- Who can use Hirewaar?
- Hirewaar is available to businesses looking to hire and people looking for work. We also provide platform solutions for organisations that want to operate their own branded recruitment environment.
- How long does a job stay active?
- A standard job posting remains active for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Can I add screening questions?
- Yes. Employers can add screening questions to their vacancies to collect additional information from candidates before shortlisting.
- Can multiple people manage hiring?
- Yes. Businesses can use team access to involve multiple people in the recruitment process, depending on their plan.
- What is Hirewaar Platform?
- Hirewaar Platform is our white-label recruitment technology. It allows organisations to launch a branded recruitment platform using Hirewaar's underlying technology.
- Is Jobvine still operating?
- No. Jobvine.co.za shows a closure banner. Hirewaar is an active alternative with jobs, freelancer listings, city pages and ZAR pricing.
- How do I list myself as a freelancer?
- Create a candidate profile and set work preference to Freelance or Employment and freelance. That lists you on the public Freelancers page.
- Is my data handled under POPIA?
- Yes. See the privacy policy. We do not sell candidate CVs as a bulk download product.
