Jobvine is closed

The live Jobvine alternative for South African hiring

Jobvine.co.za now shows a closure banner. Hirewaar is an operating job board and freelancer marketplace: structured listings, city pages, ZAR pricing, and no credit wall to talk to someone who already applied.

Pricing Credits — recruiters spent credits to view candidate profiles R50 intro / R79 per post · ZAR via Paystack · see pricing

Why this is better than copying a closed board

Jobvine mixed a job board, a freelance marketplace, and recruiter upsells. Hirewaar keeps the useful parts and drops the friction: candidates never pay, listings expire cleanly (410, not a homepage redirect), and every public job carries structured data that Google for Jobs and answer engines can cite.

We did not buy Jobvine. Tayie (Pty) Ltd built Hirewaar as a live South African product. If you arrived from a “Jobvine closed” search, start here: browse jobs, hire a freelancer, or post a role.

FAQ

Did Jobvine close?
Yes. The Jobvine website states that it is closed and points visitors elsewhere. The Facebook page is dormant.
What replaced Jobvine’s job board?
Hirewaar lists South African jobs with structured applications, city landing pages, and Google JobPosting markup — the crawlable board Jobvine no longer provides.
What replaced Jobvine Freelance?
Hirewaar Freelancers: public gig pages with skills, rates and city. No credit meter to start a conversation with someone who already published their availability.
Did Hirewaar buy Jobvine?
No. Hirewaar is an independent product from Tayie (Pty) Ltd. We built the features Jobvine marketed — jobs, freelance, regional hubs — on a board that is actually live.
